Hello everyone.It's been quite a week for me. Some disappointments and well, happiness.
Quite good results for me personally, although, I wish everyone in class could say the same about theirs. I may not be the person to talk about the class results, but, hey, I'm being honest here. For English, I'm okay with everyone doing badly,I did badly for my own standards ( A1 or A2s). For history, it was weird, section B (or was it A part2?), was awesome, "Mr suez" , "Hitler " and other weird, yet funny answers were heard. Seriously? Does anyone take studying history to a great concern? I don't think many do (or it may just be a case of ill fortune). But anyway, it's all over (hopefully). So, holidays is 2 week away for me (my starts during the 2nd week of June).
On Friday, me and Diviyanth, went to our classroom after school (cause CCA started late) and we helped to clear the bookshelf for the new one to come in ,then we cleaned the classroom a bit (it was awful). But back to results
English - paper 1: Paper 2: Total:
Maths - paper 1: 40/50 paper 2: 33/50
Science: paper 1: 27 paper 2: 31 Total: 81/100
History: MCQ: 23/25 Section Apart2/B: 10/15 Section C: 50/60
Chinese: paper 1: 42 paper 2: 39.5/70
Geography: section A: 19/20 Other section: 60.5

Labels: Mid-year results 2009

Hellos people. The dreadful Mid-year examination was over for me yesterday. Had Chinese paper 1 and 2. There were around 8 of us (Me, Jerome, Yi Jiat, Sally, Samantha, Siobhand, Emily and a sec 1 girl, I think called Yi Ting or Li Ting, but I may be wrong, so forgive me).

I thought I failed it, cause most of the time, I was fiddling with my hair and pen, thinking what to write.Same thing happened for the English paper 1 & 2 on last Friday
I got all 4 papers today, together with Geography( Which I tried to study for 3 days).
It was a wonder, how I managed to pass Chinese! Paper 1: 42 Paper 2: 39.5/70 .
and English paper 2, 53/80.Currently, I don't know if there's anyone higher, but, 1 thing I do know, that if I fail paper 1, that's gonna be a problem.
For geography, MCQ paper: 19/20 and Section B or was it C?: 60.5
Not bad, considering I didn't manage to get a single information in my head for those 3 days.

Tomorrow, If Miss Joyce is present for lesson (it ryhmes), we shall get a chance to receive our unwanted-to-be-seen-if-they-are-horrible-Maths-paper. Hopefully, everything turns out right.
I thought about why wasn't I nominated to be a student leader. So I decided, if possible, I want to try to be a student leader (I haven't been an actual leader for years). It's tough work and I might not even get a chance (cause they nominated ppl and they went for an interview I think). So never mind if there's no chance this year, there's always next year.Don't mind me.

Hello people.Today, I think is Mother's day (it's a sunday). And it's 1 more day to restarting the Mid-year exam again. I have problems with that.So let's count the problems 1 to 10!
1) Some way or another, I'm stucked in a non-study mood.So, even if i study, nothing much really goes in.....
2) I hate exams
3) Why Do we have to have so many subjects cramped in one week? Not to say that it's bad, but many give us a 1 day space to study and learn?
4) It's a weekend! Nobody wants to study on a weekend!
5) Only one day on Monday to study!!! (the first part rhymes)
6) Well, I'm just writing this to get a number 6.
7) Exams are stressful and time wasting
8) Studying for exams are even more stressful and time wasting than exams
9) Exams are definitely not fun, unless you get straight As for every single subject
10) Yay! It's number TEN!!!!

hello everyone. As you should know by now (unless you are in an isolated area), that there has been an outbreak of Swine flu (See here for info on swube flu). So the highly awaited Dallas trip was canceled on Monday (It's kind of late to tell that now right?). Hopefully, we can go back to US next year.
